A small, friendly, committed Evangelical Covenant Church congregation in Villa Park is looking for a part-time Christian Education worker to minister to the youth of our church and to reach out to others in our community.

A strong candidate for this position needs:

• a vibrant Christian faith

• interest and skills in youth ministry

• good planning and organizational skills

• the ability to coordinate volunteers

• good communication skills

The focus of this position:

• Plan Sunday School and other Christian Education programs

• Lead Jr./Sr. High Youth Group

• Teach Junior/Senior High Sunday School Class

• Assist with Daily Vacation Bible School in August

This is a 10-12 hours a week 10 month position. Salary is dependent on experience and education. An internship agreement with a seminary is possible as part of this position. The applicant must have own transportation.
